ESF NEW Travel Grants to Young European Scientists

A limited number of travel grants covering travel costs are available from the European Science Foundation, principally aimed at European young researchers, to support their active participation in the World Conference of Stress in Budapest, Hungary on 23-26 August 2007. The event is supported by ESF-LESC. LESC is the ESF Standing Committee for Life, Earth and Environmental Sciences ( www.esf.org/lesc/grants ). The ESF-LESC travel grants will be up to 1000 Euros each. The application details can be downloaded HERE. The application deadline is the 18th of June. Applications should be sent according to the guidelines above to stress07@esf.org. Abstract submission for applicants, who have not submitted an abstract yet will be open after May 31st.


DCApplication for free registration of young scientists

Regretfully, the organizing committee could not find support for traveling scholarships to the Congress but is happy to offer 20 free registrations to support the participation of young scientists at the Congress.

Hans Selye Awardees

All participants of the Conference will be able to nominate the best young scientist to receive a Hans Selye Award. Awardees will be selected by the members of the International Advisory Board participating at the Conference.
